FarmVille Collectibles - Use FarmVille Collections to Build and Expand Your Farm

FarmVille collectibles (also known as FarmVille collectables) create confusion for some FarmVille players. The main reason is players don't understand exactly how FarmVille collectibles fit into the overall scheme of building and expanding their farm.

So what are FarmVille collectibles? Simply put, they are another way for farmers to "achieve" a task and receive rewards. Farmers are looking for items in collections. For every item in the FarmVille collection there is a hint or clue to find it. Some hints are easy to figure and others will leave you scratching your head.

Unlike some other "achievement awards" in FarmVille, a farmer requires a variety of items to find the collectibles. In essence, it's like a scavenger hunt. You find items as you perform typical farming tasks or you receive them as gifts and through Recent News postings on Facebook.

FarmVille Collection Overview

Two questions are frequently asked about FarmVille collectables: Do these FarmVille gifts do anything and if so how do you go about finding and using them to your advantage?

Here is a quick summary of how to find and use FarmVille collectibles:

Three kinds of collection items exist: common, uncommon and rare. If you find an uncommon or rare item you will get the option to share it with 5 FarmVille friends.

After you find a full collection you can either exchange it for 5 tanks of fuel, 250 experience points or 5000 coins. After that, you can then share your collection with your friends or neighbors. They will receive a random item from the collection you completed. Plus, once you complete a collection you will receive the "cunning collector" ribbon.

You can collect and turn in a collection as many times as you want as there is no limit. Just remember, you can only hold 10 of a single item.

If you want to find out what collectibles you've earned, open the achievements menu and go to the Blue Ribbon icon on your farm home page, left click it, and you will find a menu above the blue ribbon called collections.

FarmVille Collection Hints

People search high and low for FarmVille collection hints. Try not get overwhelmed with all the advice and suggestions. The best thing to do is move your mouse over each picture of each collectible and you will see a hint or clue as to where the collectable might be found on the farm.

Hints can be found via:

Gifting
Plowing
Harvesting Trees

Here are a few specific hints you may encounter while farming:
